maradns-deadwood software package provides simple security-focused recursive Domain Name Service server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install maradns-deadwood
maradns-deadwood is installed in your system.
Make ensure the maradns-deadwood package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep maradns-deadwood *
You will get with maradns-deadwood package name, version, architecture and description in a table
